Cecil William Frank 'Bill' Stone (1905-1990)

Birth: 1865, Nether Wallop, Stockbridge, Hampshire.
Marriage: 9 Ocober 1895, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire (Frank was 30 years old).
Occupation: Carter on farm.
Death: 1934, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire (Frank was 69 years old).
Following his grandfather John Stone's death, Bill's father Frank Stone and his grandmother Ann Clark spent time as inmates of the Winterslow Union Workhouse, both were paupers. Sadly, Bill's grandmother died there 14 years later.
Mother: Fanny McKenzie Noyce:
Baptism: 31 October 1869, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Death: 1928, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire (Fanny was 59 years old).
Birth: 1 August 1905, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Bill was the only child born to his parents. He was raised in Winterslow, Wiltshire, located 6 miles north east of Salisbury, around 73 miles (116 kilometers) south west of London.
Marriage 1: 1928, Fordingbridge, Hampshire (Bill was 23 years old).
Spouse 1: Olive Grace Shering:
Birth: 21 July 1895, Fordingbridge, Hampshire.
Death: 1970, Southampton, Hampshire. (Olive was 75 years old).
Olive was the daughter of a railway engine driver.
Child: Rosemary Stone:
Birth: 29 November 1932, Winterslow, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Death: 20 November 2011, Hertfordshire (Rosemary was 78 years old).

Marriage 2: 1972, Southampton, Hampshire (Bill was 67 years old).
Spouse 2: Annie Victoria Mitchell:
Birth: 4 April 1910, 32, Alver Road, Kingston, Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Death: 3 May 1993, Royal South Hampshire, Hospital, Southampton (Annie was 83 years old).
Annie married 67 year old Bill, a retired ambulance driver, 2 years after Percy's death. This marriage lasted for 18 years.
Children: None.
Occupation: Hotel steward and ambulance driver.
As far as is known, Bill started driving ambulances during World War II, and continued doing so until his retirement.
Death: 1990, 70, Stafford Road, Shirley, Southampton, Hampshire (Bill was 85 years old).
Cause of death: Unknown.
