HAMSON-LANE Family History
A journey of discovery ..... from whence we came

Hamson Ancestors
Among our Hamson ancestors were many scoundrels and rogues, but on the whole they were hard working and industrious.
Longevity was not something with which they were blessed, and many passed away at a mournfully young age. Sadly, infant mortality was also very common.
Hamson men were 'street wise' and skilled in traditional working class occupations such as butchery, driving, sales, the military, farming and agriculture.
The ladies chosen by Hamson men were attractive, hardy and enterprising, often left to protect and raise their families' on their own.
Many Hamsons achieved notoriety, but none found fame and fortune. In any event, all have an interesting story to tell.
